Fuelled by the boundless love and generosity of our compassionate community, Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis is thrilled to share an inspiring milestone: our 16th kidney patient has successfully completed a kidney transplant, stepping into a new chapter of health and possibility.

At 52, Chen Siew Wai faced the profound challenge of kidney damage caused by years of medication. Since 2022, he has received dialysis treatment at Sau Seng Lum Haemodialysis Centre in Petaling Jaya. From moments of doubt to embracing hope, Chen persevered through each haemodialysis treatment, lifted by the tender care of the medical team and the heartfelt encouragement of fellow patients. Each challenging day was met with resilience, a testament to his unyielding spirit.

Now, with a successful kidney transplant, Chen has broken free from the chains of haemodialysis, embracing a life radiant with health and freedom.
