Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis brings forth another terrific announcement as our 14th kidney patient has successfully completed kidney transplant, embracing a rejuvenated, healthier and more vibrant life.

Reflecting on the past, the 37-year-old Raymond Siew revealed that he has being diagnosed with diabetes in his twenties, which later led to kidney disease due to neglected dietary care. Since December 2018, he received nearly 5 years of professional dialysis treatment at Sau Seng Lum (Puchong) Haemodialysis Centre and successfully underwent a kidney transplant on 27th August 2023.

“Upon learning about my kidney disease and the need for dialysis treatment, my heart was filled with immense fear and the whole world seemed pitch black. After each dialysis session, I felt exhausted and couldn’t do anything else throughout the day.”

He expressed deep gratitude to the nurses at Sau Seng Lum haemodialysis unit, praising their empathy, understanding and patience in caring for dialysis patients with love and professionalism.

Raymond Siew commended Sau Seng Lum for transcending religious and racial boundaries, offering a lifeline of hope to kidney patients in need of dialysis treatment from diverse backgrounds.
